BASIC INFORMATION

Name: Yu
Aliases/titles: N/A
Age: Appears teenaged, is actually about 1000. If you want to count out the time he was just a fragment and not "Yu", then he's a few hundred years old, exact number unknown.
Canon Point: After "Such is the Joy of Our Reunion" preferred.
Race: Listed as "Undisclosed" on paper, is actually a fragment of a Feranmut/pseudo-divine being. Physically, he looks like an Eastern dragon kemonomimi.


FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Non-human features: Two indigo antler-like horns that end in silver. Long pointed ears, slitted eyes and little fangs. A long, thick tail with dark grey scales and a thick mane that trails actual fire in the same color as his hair/the mane. His skin is red starting from his triceps all the way to his fingers-- yes, even his nails are red-- with indigo and silvery flames that look like decorations. They are in fact part of his skin, not tattoos, but they'd probably feel more like scales. IDK, Feranmut biology is weird.

Surface personality traits: Asian kitchen auntie meets Gordon Ramsay's celeb chef persona. He best interacts with people over food, with food, and using food metaphors. He's deeply caring to everyone, even strangers, even if sometimes he prefers to show it rather than say it-- he's admittedly not very good with words. However, he will lose his temper and yell a lot if someone disrespects or wastes food, even if he didn't make it.

Fashion: He prefers simple layers for every day use, and doesn't like wearing formal things. He likes his sleeves loose, but always removes a few layers when he works to keep his arms free.

Height: 160cm or 5'3".

Build: Short and slight.

Hair: Fire red starting from the roots and blends into deep indigo towards the ends. He maintains this ombre effect on the mane of his tail.

Eyes: Reddish pupils. The top of his eyes are red and turn into gray-green around the middle.

Voice: JP: Otani Ikue | EN: Muyaruilin | Mandarin: Yu Xiaotong. He also has lines in the Jinan dialect also by Yu Xiaotong, but there are no videos of it. Despite seeming so young, he talks like a Chinese auntie trying to fuss over others.

Language: He primarily speaks Mandarin (called Yanese in-universe) and the Jinan dialect. He's also fairly fluent with English (called Victorian in-universe), but it's unknown if he knows other languages.

Scent: Cooking oil, charcoal, and various kinds of food.

Hand dominance: Ambidextrous

Literacy: Can read and write in a few languages.

Triggers: Don't waste/insult food in front of him or criticize his cooking, or he will lose his temper and act like Gordon Ramsay.

Other: Anyone with a sixth sense, or godly powers, or anything similar in their canon will sense that he is impossibly old, and yet oddly incomplete, like he's a small piece in a much bigger puzzle.
